Requests for Proposals & Contracted Services
Through an extensive RFP process, the Bergen One-Stop Career Center sponsors a number of job training programs for at-risk-youth and recipients of public assistance through local schools and community groups. We also support Individual Training Account grants (ITAs) and On-the-Job Training grants (OJTs) through contracted providers and employers.

CONTRACTED SERVICES
Individual Training Account (ITA) Contracts
Clients choose their course of study in accordance with the State's Demand Occupation List. All schools (training providers) are approved by the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development.
On-the-Job Training (OJT) Contracts
One-Stop counselors work with prospective employees to match them with open positions in local firms. The One-Stop then reimburses employers for some of the costs associated with training the new employee in form of an On-the-Job Training contract.
