Our Mission
The Bergen One-Stop Career Center (BOSCC), established in 1996, provides education,
job skills training, career planning, and job search assistance to all
members of the community.
The mission of the Bergen One-Stop Creer Center is to provide Bergen County
with a skilled labor force that is prepared to meet the rapidly changing
business demands of the 21st century's global economy. The BOSCC addresses
the human resource needs of employers, while providing individuals with
the opportunity to obtain job skills that lead to higher levels of
productivity and earning power.
Core services include job search and placement assistance,
counseling, and labor market information. Intensive services include
comprehensive assessments, individual employment plans and case
management. In cases where customers receive intensive service, and
are still not able to find jobs, they may receive training services
directly linked to job opportunities in their local area.
